Finding a rock painting is rarely straightforward.
During our documentation work in Badami, we set out to record the well-known wild boar painting. But in a landscape made up entirely of rock shelters and painted panels, locating the exact spot is not always easy.
Even when a painting has been previously studied, identifying the correct rock surface on the ground can take considerable time and effort.
Day one ended without success.
Day two was a great success. In the process we found few more paintings as well!!
Check out these three part story of this adventure!!
